Call for Papers

We invite proposals for papers to be presented in English or Croatian. The presented papers will be 15 minutes maximum, followed by 5 min discussion time.

For a paper proposal, please submit an abstract of 200-500 words and up to 5 keywords. The submission deadline is 15 November 2018. All proposals will be reviewed, and the authors of the proposals will receive notification of acceptance by 15 January 2019. To submit paper proposals or panel proposals, please fill in the interactive submission form at this link.

Panel proposals may consist of either three or four papers or be in a roundtable format. Panels should consolidate papers with focus on the Conference main theme. The panel organiser should invite participants and evaluate each paper in the panel, but the panel as a whole and its individual papers will also be reviewed by external evaluators. For a panel proposal, the panel organisers should submit a short overview statement of the panel theme (200-500 words), a list of participants, and the (working) titles of their papers. The deadline for panel theme submission is 1 November 2018. The panel proposals will be reviewed, and the panel organisers will receive a preliminary panel approval notification by 10 November 2018.

The list of accepted panels will be published on the Conference website.

Individual authors may submit final versions of their paper proposals by 1 December 2018. Based on the reviews, the CBC2019 Programme and Advisory Board may approve the whole panel as proposed or accept some individual papers for inclusion elsewhere in the programme.
